UAE crypto asset activity grew 32% year-over-year to reach $104.8 billion between July 2025 and June 2026, according to Chainalysis's Middle East and North Africa adoption report. The volume ranks second in the region behind Turkey’s $144.5 billion, measuring flows into service providers and peer-to-peer channels rather than total holdings.
While the UAE expanded, the broader MENA region saw overall volume decline 1.4% to $443.3 billion during the same period. Excluding the UAE, remaining regional markets contracted by 8.6%. Inflows to UAE centralized exchanges rose 22% to $55 billion, with institutional platform inflows—including custodians and market makers—jumping 75% to $11.7 billion.
