The issue, highlighted by ZachXBT, stems from a 24 December update that reportedly led to over $2 million in losses as funds were drained from affected accounts. Researchers discovered code that transmitted data to a domain resembling Trust Wallet's setup, which has since been taken offline. The vulnerability appears to be confined to the browser extension, and KuCoin has advised users to refrain from importing seed phrases until further notice. Trust Wallet has yet to issue a response regarding the situation.
