Trump-themed cryptocurrencies experienced a notable rally following the unveiling of the official logo for the renamed Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida. Eric Trump revealed the gold eagle emblem on social media, sparking gains across several Trump-related tokens. Official Trump (TRUMP) rose by 3.75%, MAGA (TRUMP) increased by 3.29%, and TrumpCoin (DJT) added 1.1%. The logo reveal comes after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed legislation in March to rename Palm Beach International Airport, effective July 1, 2026. However, a federal bill is still required for the International Air Transport Association to officially change the airport's call letters to DJT. Approximately $5.5 million has been allocated for rebranding efforts, with trademark filings already submitted by the Trump Organization. Despite the recent gains, Trump-themed tokens remain significantly below their previous peaks. Official Trump (TRUMP) holds a market cap of over $558 million but trades 96% below its launch peak. MAGA and TrumpCoin (DJT) also remain far below their highs, with the latter sitting more than 99% below its 2024 peak. The upcoming formal name change on July 1 could serve as the next catalyst for these tokens.
