President Trump has postponed the signing of the "21st Century Housing Pathway Act," which includes a ban on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) issuance until 2030. The bill, which also aims to ease housing construction restrictions and limit Wall Street's residential purchases, passed both the Senate and House with significant majorities. However, Trump labeled the bill "irrelevant" and insists on the passage of the "SAVE America Act," a voting rights restriction bill, before he will sign it. The "SAVE America Act" faces strong opposition and is unlikely to pass, according to Republican leaders. Should Trump veto the housing bill, Congress would require a two-thirds majority in both chambers to override the veto and enact the legislation.
