The Trump administration is reportedly advocating for the creation of a new $250 bill featuring Donald Trump's portrait and signature. According to The Washington Post, officials appointed by the Trump administration have pressured the Bureau of Printing and Engraving (BGI) to design this new currency. If successful, Trump would become the first living person to appear on U.S. currency in over 150 years. Several current and former employees revealed that drafts for the bill were provided to BGI staff last August. A BGI printing supervisor who opposed the initiative was recently reassigned, expressing in a farewell letter that the responsibility for the decision "ends with me."
