Nasdaq-listed TROOPS Inc. (TROO) has signed a conditional share purchase agreement to acquire EFFORCE Group, aiming to expand its digital asset infrastructure business. EFFORCE was founded by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and focuses on blockchain technology, digital assets, and sustainability. Upon completion of the transaction, Wozniak will retain his interest as an EFFORCE shareholder. TROOPS stated the merger will combine both parties' strengths in technology, regulatory compliance, business development, and market channels to build a multi-sector digital asset infrastructure platform.
