TRON is set to become the first quantum-resistant blockchain, as announced by founder Justin Sun at the 2026 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival. Sun highlighted TRON's role as a major stablecoin settlement network, supporting approximately $90 billion in stablecoins and 376 million global accounts. He emphasized the importance of stability and security in financial services, particularly in the context of AI-driven systems. Sun introduced B.AI, a platform designed to provide foundational financial infrastructure for AI agents, enabling operations without human identity verification. B.AI supports blockchain address-based payments and aggregates global AI models, including ChatGPT and Gemini. TRON's deployment of quantum-resistant addresses is planned for the next quarter, aiming to safeguard against potential quantum computing threats. Additionally, B.AI will launch "B-Brain," a feature for creating customized AI models from personal data, underscoring the critical need for data security in the AI era.
