The event, organized alongside UNODC and the Basel Institute on Governance, aimed to address the criminal use of cryptocurrencies. John Hurston, General Counsel for TRON DAO, contributed to a panel on public-private collaboration in cryptoasset seizure, highlighting the T3 Financial Crime Unit (T3 FCU), a joint effort by TRON, Tether, and TRM Labs.
Since its inception in September 2024, T3 FCU has scrutinized millions of transactions globally, overseeing over $3 billion in total volume. TRON DAO reiterated its dedication to working with international law enforcement and regulatory bodies to bolster transparency and trust within the digital asset sector.
