Rewards Hub TRON DAO hosted educational workshops at Columbia University and Harvard University on November 7 and 8, 2025, as part of its TRON Academy initiative. Led by TRON DAO Community Spokesperson Sam Elfarra, the sessions introduced students to the TRON ecosystem and Web3 sectors, including PayFi and DeFi. Approximately 30 students attended the Columbia workshop, while 20–30 participated at Harvard.
The workshops aimed to connect academic learning with practical blockchain applications, featuring discussions on blockchain-based financial infrastructure versus traditional banking systems. TRON DAO also collected feedback from student club leaders to enhance Web3 engagement among students.
