Iran’s Mabna Institute transferred about $16.8 million through 30 Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron addresses, according to a TRM Labs report cited by PANews and The Block. The transactions can be traced back to 2018.
The institute is accused of carrying out coordinated “hack-for-hire” operations on behalf of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and other Iranian clients.
