Since early November, when ETH was priced at $3,400, the firm has accumulated a total of 580,000 ETH worth $1.72 billion, with an average cost of $3,208 per ETH. Currently, Trend Research faces an unrealized loss of $141 million. The firm has utilized borrowing to finance these acquisitions, securing $887 million USDT from Aave, effectively employing nearly 2x leverage.
