The Transparency Alliance has introduced the Token Transparency Framework (TTF), an open-source standard aimed at improving transparency in the cryptocurrency sector. This initiative, hosted by Blockworks and supported by industry figures such as Felipe Montealegre, Louis Thomazeau, and Cosmo Jiang, seeks to standardize disclosures across four key areas: project and team verification, token supply and allocation, financial disclosure, and market structure. Since its launch, the TTF has seen participation from notable DeFi projects like Jito, Aerodrome, and Raydium, with 42 filings submitted by May 2026. However, an audit revealed that only 9% of surveyed protocols have engaged with the framework, with no submissions from major Layer 1 or Layer 2 networks. The framework aims to provide investors with consistent and comparable information, enhancing their ability to assess project risks and value.
