The TON Foundation, in collaboration with the U.S. space exploration research institute SERA, has announced a groundbreaking space democracy project. This initiative will utilize blockchain technology to conduct a global voting process, selecting six civilians for a space mission aboard a Blue Origin rocket. Five of the spots are designated for individuals from underrepresented countries, specifically India, Nigeria, Brazil, Thailand, and Indonesia, while the sixth spot is open to global candidates. The mission is slated for launch in the first half of 2026.
