Tom Lee has suggested that Ethereum might eventually overtake Bitcoin in market capitalization due to the increasing tokenization of assets like dollars, stocks, and real estate. Lee likens this potential shift to the 1971 Nixon Shock, which saw the U.S. dollar move away from the gold standard, leading to a surge in financial instruments and the dollar's dominance. He believes a similar transformation could favor Ethereum as tokenized assets expand. Currently, Bitcoin's market cap stands at approximately $2.17 trillion, while Ethereum's is around $476.33 billion.
