Tom Lee, Chairman of BitMine, suggested that the market might be entering a bottom-formation phase, despite ongoing global challenges. Speaking to CNBC, Lee noted the market's resilience in absorbing bad news and maintaining stability. He highlighted that while the VIX, a measure of market volatility, previously reached 80, it may not rise as high this time. Lee also pointed out that if panic-driven news emerges and gold falls while the stock market rises, it could signal market stabilization. Lee emphasized that declines in sectors like software, the Mag 7, and crypto assets have largely completed, with these areas now outperforming the broader market. He advised investors to remain patient and cautious, maintaining cash reserves, but also noted that opportunities are beginning to emerge as fundamentals in key sectors remain strong.
