Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of Bitmine, has observed a significant shift of AI investment funds from the memory chip sector to Ethereum. According to Lee, Ethereum has outperformed the Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) by 72 percentage points since June 25, with Ethereum rising 24% while the DRAM ETF fell 38%. The DRAM ETF, launched in April, focuses solely on memory chip manufacturers, with SK Hynix and Samsung comprising about 41% of its weight. It raised $6.5 billion in 27 trading days, setting a record for the fastest ETF issuance. Lee attributes Ethereum's institutional bullish outlook to applications like BlackRock's tokenized BUIDL fund and Robinhood Chain, both built on Ethereum.
