Ethereum has emerged as the best-performing asset since the onset of the Middle East crisis, according to BitMine Chairman Tom Lee. Speaking at Paris Blockchain Week 2026, Lee noted that Ethereum has outpaced energy stocks and surpassed the S&P 500 by nearly 20 percentage points. He suggested that if markets withstand the crisis and the U.S. economy remains robust despite rising oil prices, the crypto bull market could extend into 2028. Lee also highlighted Ethereum's ongoing deep consolidation phase, with tokenization and agentic AI poised to drive the next rally. Key areas of growth include stablecoins, tokenized stocks, tokenized reputation systems, and AI-driven payment demand.
