The total value of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) on public blockchains has surged to $23.6 billion, marking a 66% increase since the start of the year, according to DeFiLlama data. Tokenized funds, including those backed by US Treasury bonds, bonds, and money market funds, dominate the market with $10.5 billion, accounting for 44.5% of the total. Tokenized gold and commodities follow at $6.5 billion, while tokenized stocks have reached nearly $4 billion, surpassing the $1 billion mark on Tuesday. The tokenized US Treasury market, which exceeded $10 billion in February, has grown to $11.13 billion in March.
