Timefun has announced the phased shutdown of its creator token platform, maintaining only withdrawal and asset transfer capabilities as it transitions to a new blockchain-based social application. Founder Kawz revealed that the new app will move away from the creator token model, focusing on developing a next-generation social platform that emphasizes on-chain identity and social incentives. The decision comes as current user activity and transaction demand fall short of sustaining the existing product. The new platform, currently in internal testing, aims to naturally generate on-chain assets and reputation through social interactions, with a preview and testing invitation plan expected in the coming weeks.
