Ryder has secured $3.2 million in a seed funding round led by billionaire investor Tim Draper. The funds will be used to enhance production, expand engineering and marketing teams, and launch a significant marketing campaign. Ryder's hardware wallet, Ryder One, aims to offer complete crypto security in under 60 seconds with its TapSafe recovery feature, which addresses the vulnerabilities of traditional seed phrases. The funding round also saw participation from venture capital firms Borderless, Semantic, Smape, and VeryEarly, along with angel investors Anatoly Yakovenko and Joe McCann. Ryder plans to introduce tap-to-pay and everyday crypto transactions through a companion app in the future.
