Threshold Network Introduces tBTC on Sui Blockchain

Threshold Network has launched tBTC on the Sui blockchain, an ERC-20 token backed 1:1 by Bitcoin. This integration aims to bolster Bitcoin financial products (BTCFi) within the Sui ecosystem. Users can now mint tBTC directly on Sui, potentially injecting over $500 million in Bitcoin liquidity into the network. Currently, BTC-backed assets represent more than 10% of the total value locked in the Sui ecosystem.
