Thai authorities have arrested over 15 foreign nationals in Bangkok's Bung Kum district for their involvement in a cryptocurrency scam. The suspects, hailing from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine, were apprehended following complaints from neighbors that prompted a police raid. During the operation, electronic devices and operational scripts were seized. This crackdown is part of Thailand's intensified efforts to tackle transnational cryptocurrency fraud. In recent months, the country has successfully recovered over $12 million in assets linked to such scams.
