Two Thai businessmen have sued Tether, alleging the company blacklisted a wallet holding $42.4 million in USDT at the informal request of U.S. government agents without a search warrant or court order. The plaintiffs are seeking to have the freeze lifted.
The lawsuit also seeks compensation from Tether for returns allegedly generated by investing the corresponding reserves during the period in which the funds remained frozen.
