Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino has revealed the company's development of an AI assistant named "QVAC." The assistant is designed to integrate multiple skills via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Demonstrations have shown QVAC's ability to create tasks in Asana using natural language. Notably, QVAC can operate on laptops with below-average GPU configurations, enabling 100% local inference and decision-making. Tether plans to open-source the assistant in the near future.
