Tether has announced a partnership with video streaming platform Rumble to distribute its U.S.-regulated stablecoin, USAT, marking its re-entry into the American market. The collaboration was unveiled by Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino at the Token2049 event in Singapore. Rumble plans to introduce a crypto wallet later this year, featuring USAT and other tokens. This strategic move is facilitated by the GENIUS Act, a new U.S. stablecoin regulation signed into law by President Trump in July. Tether, which invested $775 million in Rumble last year, holds a 48% stake in the platform. The partnership aims to leverage Rumble's 51 million monthly active users to enhance USAT adoption and compete with other stablecoins like USDC.
