Tether has announced a partnership with licensed Laotian digital asset exchange Bitqik to advance financial education related to Bitcoin and stablecoins. The collaboration will involve online courses, the Bitqik Academy, and quarterly offline events in cities such as Vientiane, Pakse, Vang Vieng, and Luang Prabang. These initiatives aim to educate students, communities, and entrepreneurs on the practical applications of stablecoins like USD₮. The program is expected to reach over 10,000 people in 2026, enhancing awareness and trust in stablecoins while promoting digital finance and financial inclusion in the Laotian market.
