Tether is developing an AI platform named QVAC, designed to operate on users' own hardware, according to Delphi Digital research. The platform offers a modular SDK that allows developers to create AI micro-modules, which connect and collaborate through a peer-to-peer encrypted network, eliminating the need for centralized servers and API keys. QVAC Fabric has recently added support for Microsoft's BitNet architecture. Tether is also building several applications on QVAC, including Translate for offline transcription and translation of text, audio, and images; Health for local health data tracking using on-device AI agents; and Keet, which integrates QVAC AI for on-device conversational capabilities.
