TeraWulf has acquired the Muskie Data Campus, a hyperscale data center site in eastern Kentucky, from Industrial Equity Partners. Located within the 1,000-acre EastPark Industrial Park, the site spans approximately 285 acres and is set to deliver over 1 GW of data center capacity. The first phase of 500 MW is expected to be operational by late 2028, with an additional 500 MW planned for 2030.
This acquisition marks TeraWulf's second major purchase in Kentucky this year, following the acquisition of the Justified Data Campus in Hawesville. The Muskie site benefits from existing zoning approvals and infrastructure, with Kentucky Power constructing a 345 kV substation to enhance connectivity. Combined, TeraWulf's Kentucky facilities could reach a total capacity of 1.5 GW.
