Cross-chain protocol TeleSwap has reportedly suffered an exploit resulting in a loss of approximately $735,000, according to on-chain detective ZachXBT. The incident occurred on July 15, and in response, TeleSwap's Bitcoin hot wallet ceased processing transactions. However, five days have passed without any public disclosure from the project team regarding the breach.
ZachXBT also noted that the attacker recently moved the stolen funds to Tornado Cash, a privacy-focused cryptocurrency mixer. The lack of communication from TeleSwap has raised concerns within the crypto community about transparency and security measures.
