Telegram successfully sold 29,000 digital 'papakhas' from former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, raising approximately $4.35 million. The auction, which concluded on November 23, was conducted in 290 five-minute rounds. Each digital collectible was priced at an average of 10,100 'stars,' equivalent to about 103 Toncoin (TON) or $150. These digital 'papakhas' are issued on the TON network and can be traded for 'stars' or Toncoin, with the option to sell them as NFTs on external platforms. Telegram founder Pavel Durov highlighted the significance of these collectibles, describing them as 'socially significant NFTs' with value beyond monetary terms.
