Taurus, a cryptocurrency custodian, has obtained a MiFID II investment license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). This license allows Taurus to offer tokenized financial instruments to banks and asset management firms across the European Union. The services include secondary trading of tokenized bonds, fund shares, equities, and structured products. In addition to the CySEC license, Taurus is already licensed by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). The company is also in the process of applying for authorization under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), further expanding its regulatory compliance and service offerings in the region.
