Tangem has unveiled Tangem Pay, a virtual Visa card that integrates with hardware wallets to facilitate stablecoin spending globally. Developed with U.S. payment firm Paera, the card supports Circle's USDC on the Polygon network, allowing users to transact at millions of merchants. The service will initially launch in the U.S., Latin America, and key Asia-Pacific regions by late November, with a European rollout planned for 2026. Covering 42 countries, including Australia, Brazil, and Japan, Tangem Pay aims to become a preferred tool for daily transactions. The self-custody solution requires KYC compliance, with compliance and settlement managed by Rain, which plans to join Western Union's Solana-based network in 2026.
