Swish Ventures, the venture capital firm founded by former NBA player Omri Casspi, has closed a $250 million third fund, lifting its total assets under management to about $800 million. Backers in the new fund include Sequoia Capital, U.S. pension funds, U.S. universities, and family offices. The fund is expected to invest in around 12 startups, with average checks of roughly $20 million targeting seed and Series A rounds. Investment areas include cybersecurity, technology infrastructure, physical AI, defense, industrial AI, and government technology. Since launch, Swish has invested in 20 companies, eight of which reached unicorn status, with total portfolio valuation above $60 billion. The firm previously joined a $7 million seed round for Web3 company Antic and a $13.5 million financing round for Web3 identity verification startup Dynamic.
