The Sweat Foundation announced that Sweat Wallet and SWEAT token operations will terminate on December 30 due to the current model's failure to achieve sustainable profitability. Specific arrangements for the transition are scheduled to be released in the first week of December. Upon closure of claiming and Grow Jar contracts, any unclaimed SWEAT tokens and savings balances will be automatically transferred to users' associated NEAR accounts. The SWEAT token will continue to exist on NEAR and bridged EVM chains, while the Sweatcoin app, operated by an independent company, will remain fully functional.
