Sui Network has announced the cross-chain interoperability of native wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) on its platform. This development, facilitated by BitGo through LayerZero, allows for seamless movement of wBTC across different blockchain ecosystems. Users can now transfer wBTC with only gas fees, eliminating the need for rewrapping, thus enhancing transaction efficiency and reducing costs.
