Ripple has partnered with Stripe-owned wallet infrastructure provider Privy to integrate the XRP Ledger (XRPL) into its developer platform. The integration allows developers to create and manage XRPL wallets and sign transactions directly within applications without building custom infrastructure, supporting XRP, Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin, and other XRPL-issued assets.
Privy will also enable app-managed XRPL wallets that allow AI agents to hold funds and execute payments, with compatibility for Coinbase’s x402 payment protocol. Future updates are planned to include transaction policy controls and gas fee sponsorship features to further streamline developer implementation.
