Story has rebranded as DATA Foundation, shifting its focus from on-chain intellectual property to AI training data. The newly launched platform, Trace, facilitates on-chain data registration and auditing. In collaboration with AI data marketplace Kled, DATA Foundation integrates over 1.5 billion user-contributed data pieces into its network. Each data contribution is recorded with an on-chain receipt detailing the data source, licensing, contributor consent, and payment information, allowing settlements in stablecoins or fiat currency. Additionally, Story's native IP tokens will be migrated 1:1 to new DATA tokens, with no action required from holders. The transition details will be announced later. The primary clientele includes AI labs and enterprises developing models, with Poseidon tasked with dataset verification and scoring.
