Startale Group has successfully raised $63 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by SBI Group, which contributed $50 million, while Sony Innovation Fund invested $13 million in January 2026. The funds will be used to enhance Startale's on-chain infrastructure, focusing on Ethereum Layer 2, stablecoin issuance, and tokenized securities.
Previously, Startale Group collaborated with SBI to launch the Layer 1 network Strium, designed for real-world asset (RWA) and securities trading, as well as the yen-pegged stablecoin JPYSC.
