The Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges saw a combined turnover of 2.88 trillion yuan, marking a decrease of 441.5 billion yuan from the previous day. Despite the overall downturn, over 3,700 stocks rose, with 166 reaching their daily limit. Sector-wise, AI applications and coal stocks showed strength, with several companies hitting their daily limits. Tiandi Online and Zhangyue Technology were notable gainers in the AI sector, while Dayou Energy and Zhengzhou Coal Industry led the coal sector. Conversely, CPO concept stocks weakened, with Dongshan Precision and Cambridge Technology hitting their daily limit down. The Shanghai Composite Index closed down 0.27%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.51%, and the ChiNext Index dropped 2.15%.
