Standard Chartered is planning to integrate parts of its majority-owned Zodia Custody Ltd. with its digital asset operations. The bank aims to consolidate Zodia's crypto custody services into a unit within its corporate and investment banking division that offers similar services. Despite this integration, Zodia Custody will continue to operate independently as a crypto asset custody software-as-a-service business. An official announcement regarding this restructuring could be made as early as this month.
