This makes Standard Chartered the first global systemically important bank to provide such integrated services. Institutional clients can access USDC through a streamlined onboarding process without needing a direct Circle account. Initially available through Standard Chartered's operations in the Dubai International Financial Centre, the service supports on-chain settlement, treasury, and liquidity management, with plans for expansion pending regulatory approval.
