Standard Chartered and Ant International have introduced a new platform for tokenized deposits in Singapore and Hong Kong, supporting SGD, USD, and HKD. This blockchain-based system, developed under MAS’s Project Guardian, integrates bank ledgers with blockchain technology to enable real-time, compliant fund transfers. The platform, utilizing Ant's Whale system, facilitates 24/7 fund movement between entities and also supports offshore renminbi, improving liquidity management across markets.
