Standard Chartered has partnered with Ant International to introduce a blockchain-based tokenized deposit solution, now deployed on Ant's Whale platform. This solution facilitates near real-time transfers in Hong Kong dollars (HKD), offshore renminbi (CNH), and US dollars (USD). The initiative is part of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's (HKMA) Project Ensemble, aimed at advancing distributed ledger technology in local financial applications.
