Visa alone has processed $3.5 billion in annualized settlements using these digital assets. Tether and Circle, two leading stablecoin issuers, now hold over $135 billion in U.S. Treasury bonds, underscoring their growing influence in the financial sector. The stablecoin market's expansion is fueled by regulatory advancements and enhanced cross-border transaction capabilities, with token volume projected to reach $46 trillion by the end of 2025.
