Stability AI has closed a $76 million Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to $232 million. Investors in the round include Universal Music Group, Sony Music Group, Warner Music Group, EA, AMD Ventures, and Pacific Alliance Ventures.
The company has already partnered with Universal Music, EA, and Warner Music to develop generative AI tools. CEO Prem Akkaraju said the funding validates the vision of generative AI empowering creators. The new capital will be used to expand Stability AI’s creative product suite and professional services business.
