On-chain security researcher Specter has uncovered potential links between the Realms founder and the recent BONK DAO governance attack. The investigation revealed that both the Realms founder and Crypto Notte had on-chain fund exposure to addresses tied to the suspected attacker. The attacker reportedly initiated a malicious governance proposal on June 30, 2026, requiring 1% of BONK's circulating supply to pass. By July 5, the attacker had secured the necessary voting power through exchange purchases and a $4 million marginfi loan.
