South Korea's Supreme Court has sentenced a virtual asset exchange head to four years in prison for accepting approximately 920 million won in cryptocurrency from suspected North Korean hackers. The individual was also found guilty of aiding in the acquisition of military secrets from an active-duty officer. The court additionally imposed a four-year suspension of qualifications on the exchange head. The involved military officer received a ten-year prison sentence and a fine for leaking classified information. The hackers are reportedly linked to North Korea's Reconnaissance General Bureau's "Bureau 110."
