Solana ecosystem development team Anza has postponed the Transaction V1 activation on mainnet-beta to the start of epoch 1035, expected at approximately 1:20 a.m. UTC on September 15. The delay follows feedback from multiple ecosystem teams requesting more time to test and integrate V1 support.
Transaction V1 is already live on devnet for developers to validate integrations. Under V1, compute budgets are configured through new transaction settings, while existing compute budget instructions remain effective for legacy and V0 transactions but no longer work in V1. Anza warned that teams may need to update the paths used to read, write, and display V1 transactions even if they do not currently send them.
