A recent group theft incident affected more than 100 addresses and dozens of real users, with losses tied to private key leaks, according to SlowMist founder Cos. The attacker is estimated to have made about $200,000 in profit.
The common factor across the victims was prior use of the iToken wallet. The wallet had previously been found to have collected users’ private keys and mnemonic phrases, and people related to the group had been arrested.
