Shopify has announced a partnership with Coinbase and Stripe to introduce USDC stablecoin payments on its platform. The rollout will begin in June, with a full launch expected by the end of 2025. This collaboration aims to enhance payment flexibility for Shopify merchants, allowing them to accept USDC, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, thereby offering a more stable and efficient transaction method compared to traditional cryptocurrencies.
